To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Race of Death

I finally finished making my Halo: Reach map, Race of Death. It took me several hours to make, but it's finally done. All that's left to do is test it, but none of my Xbox Live friends are online right now, so I can't do that. I've tested it on my own and it is possibly to beat, just very hard. It's not really a racing map, despite what the name says. I created the map entirely from scratch on my own, but I got the idea from an old Halo 3 custom map.

It's an infection game, where humans have to try and drive (or they could try walking) to the end of a very long and dangerous race track that is several thousand meters above the ground. The entire time the zombie has to try to kill the humans who are in very far away. Once the humans, or human, reaches the end of the track, they will teleport to an area with a sniper rifle (and some other gadgets), and a line of fire for taking out the zombie.

I hope you enjoy my map, I spent a long time making it. Please report any bugs, make suggestions, write reviews, give feedback, and discuss my map in this thread. Thank you for reading and playing. Below are links to both the map variant and the custom game type used for the map.
