To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Is there one?
With all these people around this forum all sharing the same interest in sci-fi games are there members that play some of the multiplayer games together?
Usually I would expect this but seeing that many of the games are single player, the wide range of games and maybe most of the members are of an age where they are already settled in their own clans & guilds, it's not unlikely that everyone plays more or less for him/herself.
I don't want to start this right here, I'm just curious. With XCOM incoming I might be occupied for the next few weeks killing aliens, but why not giving each other a hard time in multiplayer for example? (not that I am a friend of pvp, co-op & pve is what I like)

Think D1 occasionally does a game now and again but with people in different time zones, probably not that easy thing to set up.
