To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

While trying to be sneaky and getting pioneer to work on my work PC...

I fire it up and the SDL_app window appears and then the pc goes into some form of blinking panic finally ending in a complete freeze....very similar to this thread

http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/topic/1140-can-install-but-wont-run/

it is even the same gfx family, so my question is where is this .ini file they refer to disable the shaders that seem to be the answer for that individual. I realise this is many alphas on and things have changed....

Take care of your work. Pioneer is very addictive. <img src="' http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//drag.gi f"' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':drag:' />

I have a minor prob. too!

After updating my Graphics driver, and playing with the Shader options on, i get transparent meshes with random white spots on them.

Sure can play without problems once i restart with the shaders off.

Wasn't a problem with my older drivers thougt.

Anyone knows why this particular problem happens?
