To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Hello
Everytime I start a new player in Sol or New Hope, Pioneer crashes. When starting in Barnards Star it does not.
Because of this, I started a new player in Barnards Star (where there is no planets) and jumped to a system with planets. Each time i get near any planets the game crashes.
Here is my system specifications and the opengl.txt, although I cannot find output.txt file.
Thanks
Well, I've never seen the game run on one of the newer Intel Iris GPUs so I don't know what issues it might have, however the problem sounds similar to people who can't run with the eclipse code enabled.
So the first thing to try is to open up your "config.ini" file and change the line "DisableEclipse=0" to "DisableEclipse=1" and give that a try please.
Andy
I changed the lin to "DisableEclipse=1" but the game still crashes. I've played previous versions of Pioneer withought this problem, but with the newer versions it crashes.
