To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Throttle axis

Hi,

I'm trying to work out how i can get my siatekl x52 throttle working with pioneer, as it uses an axis rather than a key press for throttle up\down, i'm not sure if this is possible at the moment.

Has anybody got throttle control working with a joystick?

I have a Saitek X45, but I haven't seriously tried to set it up for Pioneer. As I recall you can set it up in the profile editor so that the throttle control is divided into 3 bands. Enter on the top, nothing in the middle and right-shift on the bottom. I did something like that for FFE. I recently moved from an XP machine to Win7 and haven't tried to set up the stick yet, so I'm afraid that I can't be more specific.
