To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

This looks like a good movie.... and from Neill Blomkamp so the story is probably a good one.

Never thought I would see Die Antwoord in a movie wow....  You will know who I am talking about when you dig a little deeper they are both in the trailer.  Crazy music they produce indeed 🙂

Yeah I thought of that too, but hey Short Circuit for its time was a decent movie. Chappie looks to try to capture the fear around having adapting/learning AI. So it will be interesting how they put that piece into it.

I saw this movie last saturday, well I really enjoyed it, one of the best movies I saw those last months. With District 9 and Elysium, looks like N. Blomkamp is the new Sci-fi movie maker reference

I saw this movie this past weekend and I really enjoyed it and they did a great job I thought with the learning process of Chappie. I won't try to give it away, but they least left the movie open to have a sequel created. Not sure how it did in the theater but was overall a good solid movie about AI and makes you think about if this could be possible?

The movie soundtrack, from the key actors band :

Not the kind of music I usually like, but I found this funny and pleasant
