To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

In New Zealand there's a contest going where you could enter a script and the winner gets a smallish budget to make theirs into a movie. Of the twelve remaining there's one low budget sci-fi one
What am I getting out of this? Nothing at all.
Then why am I posting this? Well, there might just be some old style sci-fi nuts out there who might be interested. Should these guys get the chance to make their movie I know I'm going to watch it 🙂
Anyway: here's the link: http://www.makemymovie.co.nz/finalist/f ... lly-heavy/
Decent concept and looks to be funny according to some of the videos I watched on their site. And love the title.
Awesome stuff 😀 it should get made.
It's no matter that movie is low budget or high budget but one thing which always matters which is storyline. I think storyline should have that power to attract audience to watch again and again.
