To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Could this be real?
I just don't hope WMG fucks it up...
That would be great - but looks highly speculative so far. Let's hope that it goes ahead and that yeah, they don't make a complete mess of it.... 😀

You look good through a crosshair.
Be great if they do a reboot as a feature film.
I'm not a big fan of reboots; it leads to origin story after origin story and often a lot of the charm and depth of the original gets lost. That said, if its actually JMS calling the shots, maybe it could work. And B5 landed when CG was in an "awkward" phase; it had *just* become viable but was still pretty rough. I'd love to see an updated B5 universe.
Read the article. It clearly takes place during Sheridan's IA period 🙂 Plenty of interesting events waiting to be explored there.

I did read, and its clearly called a reboot. It says he wants to use the old actors in new roles, and that he'd like Bruce Boxleitner (not Sheridan) to be the EARTH Alliance president, NOT the IA.
Its honestly probably the best way to go, but still, I'd have loved to see "what happened next" to our old friends. Then again, with G'Kar and Franklin both gone, it would never have been quite the same.
I their was some great moments with the GKar and lando characters in the series, also I seem to recall an old interview with JMS where he said he was developing a film on the telepathy war, shame we never got to see any of that.
I loved the series, though I think it peaked at the end of season 3 and then started to go downhill from there; I didn't particularly like the last season with Sheridan as president. Still, epic sci-fi, and yes both G'Kar and Londo were brilliant.

You are correct in fact 🙂

G'kar really started to come into full bloom early in season 3 🙂 Loved the part in s3ep9 where he walks into CnC and goes like "I have an idea". The look on his face then is just golden 😀
Season 5 is the worst for me as the whole series just lost direction after the shadow war and taking back Earth.
