To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

I will watch this eventually...... nice to see some of the cameos in this. I like that lead actress 'Mackenzie Davis' she played a great role in Halt and Catch Fire (recommend that TV show to everyone) so I will be interested to see how she does playing the role. Not sure about the enemy terminator he doesn't look too imposing to me.

I hope this is the last of these movies to be honest 🙂

Main SkyNet loop:

while(HumansAreAlive())
{
SendLatestTerminatorModel();
thread.Sleep(2 years);
}

I did enjoy the last one but I always thought they should have gone with the reboot film from a few years back.

Early estimates say the movie only earned 11mil on this Friday's open .... Ouch! They will make it up overseas, america is kind of a small market now. Most movies make more internationally than they do domestically. But this slow showing says a lot that the public just doesn't want to keep this going, they should have stopped after #3 or even Salvation because they basically tied up all the loose ends....

A reboot.... nah. Maybe once people forget this movie, because who can replace Arnold? He made this role and he is tied to it for life.

Looks like it's getting a good kicking in the reviews.

Well had a watch of it and not as bad as some reviews have made it out to be but not that good either, let's just hope that they don't make any more.
