To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

OMG this is amazing, first Battleship Yamato and now Captain Harlock....

This looks to be CGI and it is amazing looking even in this rough video.... let the drooling begin. It's great seeing some of my cartoons I watched as a kid get seen again with todays tech/animation behind it.

Did a small search for Albator and there was a movie made of this but I cannot find it anywhere with real actors. Or is that preview just a demo of something that never came to be?

Never heard of the Space Pirate guess it never made it onto British tv.

The only jap anime space cartoons I’ve seen are Battle of the Planets with that annoying robot sidekick in it 😆 and one which was based on the Greek myth Ulysses. It also had an annoying robot side kick in it. 😆

OMG, I remember Ulysses. Wonder if he ever found Earth? 😕 Was that not broadcast at the same time as G-Force?

Remember seeing G-force in the late 70s and Ulysses in the early to mid 80s but I would guess they were shown a number of times during the 80s

Anyone remember a Japanese Gerry Anderson like puppet show called Starfleet or Xfleet, I think it also had an annoying robot side kick in it as well. 😆

This movie has been absolutely silent and I cannot find any info on this at all. My guess would be a 2012 release date.
