To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Well it's a mobile game which has made the jump to PC and their not a lot to it, as it's says on the website. http://www.pixeljam.com/lasthorizon/

A minimal, atmospheric space survival & exploration game,

set to deep ambient music.

Pilot the last vessel of a fallen civilization

into the vast unknown in search of a new habitable world.

Explore and gather enough terraforming resources

to create a beautiful and harmonious new planet,

but take too much and you might incur the wrath of sentient alien life...

For some odd reason I could not resist it and bought it yesterday, reminds me of Thrust with a bit of Luna Lander thrown into the mix.

Hmm does look simple but if the music is right and the mechanics good it could be some fun, especially on the go on a mobile device. It almost has a PixelJunk style game feel too it, which I like.

It's fun little game but not something you would spend hours playing more like the odd ten minutes, more suited to mobiles than the PC.

And it just had an update all 32meg of it.(that's the whole size of the game download)
