I have locked new registrations to SSC while I do site maintenance and transition the site to a new platform. I will be also locking posting on Sunday. I'm looking for a space combat/exploration game I played a while back. It was viewed from a top-down perspective. I remember switching my armor plating from metal to organic, which regenerated hull integrity automatically, and I also remember ships named after weapons. Something along the lines of "Scimitar", "Estoc" or "Epee". I'm sorry, I know it's vague. I'm having a lot of trouble finding it. It was 2D, I believe, and I played it something like five years ago. Any information would really be appreciated!
Edit: I found it. It's Epoch Star. I looked through the games but had overlooked it, I guess.
Wow. You remembered it only after a little over 30 minutes! I'm an avid PC SciFi gamer and never heard of it. I just googled it, and the description looks interesting. Thanks for the heads-up. I'm downloading it as we speak, and I'll be back on this thread with my review. Stay cool. 🙂
