To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Hey Everyone
When doing my daily mission of finding all the good stuff I can across some interesting info for the fans of Tarr Chronicles and Dark Horizon.
Stucuk is developing some beta patches for both games addressing some issues players have with the games. You will need to register in his forums: http://obt.tarrsupport.com/ to gain access to the beta patches. But some good work is going on in addressing a lot of the issues people are having.
Even though these patches are not being released by Paradox Interactive they are still official because Stucuk is doing patch work for Quazar the actual developer. These patches are accumulative so the latest beta patch will have previous fixes in them from other beta patches. If you do run into issues you might have to re-install your game. Current latest fixes for the games are as follows:
Tarr Chronicles
You need to have at least version 1.0.4.0 installed before installing this patch

Added: Joystick axis mapping to any game actions
Added: Static Main Menu background option
Added: Extra options to tarrs setup app
Fixed: English video subtitles now display sentences that match the videos audio
Fixed: Certain explosions nolonger crash the game
