To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

The next test build is available for download. Here is the running list of improvements so far:
- Spy missions have been added to war zones.
- Date and time are now part of pilot profile stats.
- Audio options are now available in the in-game exit menu.
- Some particle cannon textures changed and updated for appearance and scaling.
- Updates to the modification system for better capital ship and small ship support.
- High radiation nebulae (class 7) can now prevent missile locks, limiting weapons to cannons and beams only while inside.
3 or 4 cannon types have had their textures changed/updated. There were some scaling and appearance issues with a few of them that have been fine tuned to look better overall. This build also implements the guns-only nebulae and audio options in the exit menu. Compatibility conditions are the same as with 1.089, new features/changes in 1.090 will work with other 1.090 builds.
Again, this build does not include an installer, it's just an EXE replacement. So you just need to download the ZIP and replace the old EXE (in the \sw3dg\EvochronLegends folder) with this new one. Make sure to keep the installer for 1.088 handy in case you want to return to the older build.
This sounds like a nice feature, I have always liked it when the environment plays a part in the game play. man I need more time to play games 🙂
