To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Hey Everyone
X3: Terran Conflict has a new patch/expansion in the form of 2.0 'Aldrin Expansion Missions'. You should be able to buy this new version in the stores now because supposedly came out on 4/7/2009. But if you have the original X3TC you can download the patch from here for free to upgrade your current X3TC: http://www.egosoft.com/download/x3tc/patches_en.php
Version 2.0 also includes:
* Many new stations to build, including Terran factories
* New sectors
* Fixes to the Universal Traders
* A new ship variation
* Mission improvements
* Interface improvements
* Several issues fixed
This was also posted on there website and the file downloads have been fixed but just incase you patched early:
IMPORTANT NOTE: During the final packing of the 2.0 patch a data error occured, the effect of which did not become apparent until after the patch was released. This error has now been corrected and new versions of the patch will be offered as version 2.0a. For those who have already applied the 2.0 patch a smaller hotfix (version 2.0a) will be available. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes and hope it does not affect your enjoyment of the game.
I am really thinking about picking this one up since it has been a while since I have played a X series game just because at the time it didn't have the elements I wanted. And they now started work on 2.1 patch so have fun everyone and please do post your comments on your experiences with X3TC2.0
Anyone have any feedback or some screenshots of the new features/ships in action? Can't wait to give this game a try since the last time I played was in X2.
