To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Greetings to all that occasionally dwell here. I am known as Cambragol on these here internets. I have been registered for a little while, but didn't get around to introducing myself. Some may know me from my involvement in the Torn Stars project, which has occupied a good chunk of my free time for about 5 years now. Aside from that game, I have also played and am fond of the original Privateer, Hardwar, Privateer the Darkening, I-War 1, Stars! and Elite. I have been involved in game design professionally, and as a hobby for about 15 years. However, my involvement in space sims is limited to an amateur capacity.
In any case I bid everyone here greetings, and hope to see Space Sim Central grow into a real hub of space sim activity.
Hiya Cambragol
Welcome to SSC and nice to see the Torn Stars website have getting more activity and Unstable Space mod back in motion again, now all we need is for Particle Systems to make a I-War 3 🙂
Doing my best and with everyone's help we can make that happen. Not doing to bad so far SSC still hasn't celebrated it's birthday yet. And with my advertising budget basically at $0 I cannot complain.
