To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

As the date for Elite 4 is drawing near, it rekindled my intrest in Elite, the best game made for PC ever and I ended up here, seeing all the work that has been done by you guys, while I was away doing other things. And I can tap into that hard work and dedication! For this my many thanks to all concerned.
I only saw a few glimpses of what has been done (it looks realy great) and I will be back to look around more, but for now I want to get this game running and back in the Commanders' seat.
It is good to be back, it does feel like I have never left.
Let's find a Lave starting position somewhere, for old times sake.
