To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Hi... thought I'd pop in and say hi here. I'm new to the forums and stumbled across them while looking for general Space Sim enthusiast websites.
I've been playing these things since my trusty Atari 2600 and fondly remember Tie Fighter and X-Wing vs Tie Fighter.
These days I am an early backer of both Star Citizen and Elite: Dangerous and a bunch of other space related games.. so many I doubt I'll ever play them all as much as I'd like.
I've recently embarked on a project to add real voice responses to your game, so if anyone can point me to the correct forum area to start a thread about it I'd be really appreciative. It's something that is designed especially for Space Sims.
Anyway... keep an eye out for me online... I usually go by the name Bigglesan (or Shebat) in game.
