To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

He's running around here calling himself Gunsmif.
Well, i've just started playing X3 after owning it for around4 years, and loving it.
If anyone could give me some starter tips, that would be great.

As for X3 I assume you mean Reunion? (No idea how long TC has been out.) The best place for tips of any sort would be the X3 forums. Dozens upon DOZENS of guides outlining beginner strategies.

I would have to agree as well the egosoft forums has a wealth of info on all there games and there is some nice mods for all of them. Granted you should probably just play X3TC instead.

Welcome to the SSC, lots of good advice there on X3. I have all the X games, but still struggling with the very first one, X-Beyond The Frontier. It's slow progress, but I want to complete it before moving on to the others.
