To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Greetings infinite vastness lovers!
I am a beginner African(Angolan) indie game developer. I'm in the process of making a space game, so I found that posting about it in here will be good for feed back!
I'm a blender user (Maya, 3DSmax, C4D are also part of my luggage, but haven't used them in years...) and am using it to create the whole game. I'm mostly an artist, and now, for lack of a programmer I'm forced to learn programming so that development won't stop. There's no deadline yet, but I intend to finish the game!
So that's me and what might connect me to this site.
By the way, my project is called Chronicles of Saba (COS).
Hello Torakunsama Welcome to SSC.
There are a number of people making games here, some times feel that some of you guys should band together and make one game, but I guess that every one likes do there own thing.
Welcome man.
😎
Hi there Torakunsama
Welcome to SSC and glad to here you are working on a game (Chronicles of Saba). I hope you are dedicated and I am very interested in this just because your trying to create it all mostly in Blender3D. I very interested in what Blender3D can do on the game engine side.
Thank you for the warm welcome!
@ PINBACK:
banding up to do a single game wont work! For Indie games developers is about love, not just about finishing. For instance, we don't all think and work the same way, also having too many developers doing one game would be like a bus with N drivers or/and their wife next to them!
@ Darkone:
Indeed, Blender has a lot of potential, and the BGE is still growing! Hopefully, it will flourish to full bloom one day.
Thanks guys!
Welcome to the SSC Torakunsama 🙂
