To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

I have had a dream, for as long as I can remember, of starting an online game. It's been a long and difficult quest to pursue with limited resources. I live in a country where crowd funding is not available, so the budget has been tight. This has forced me to become creative raising money to provide game content. Through hard work and determination, I am able to fulfill my dream of bringing a 3D space combat simulator to life.

I am using as a base game engine Unity 5 and don't get fooled by the ads it's a very complex engine even for a 10 year C# programmer and you have lots to learn, in order to interact correctly with the engine. Not to mention I had to do a lot of adjustments to make it work on such a large scale game-play.

I hope you will like my work and that one day this game can become as close as a full 1:10 scale universe.

Wellcome!
About the game...you are working alone or someone is helping you? It's a lot of work for one person!
