To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Might have some thing to do with Peter Molyneux saying he want Fable 3, to sell 5 million copies, which it can’t do on the 360 alone.

You know, the PC cannot die, because people need a machine that is versatile enough and open enough to do whatever they need.

As far as gaming is concerned, the majority of income from the major publishers (Nintendo being one of the obvious exceptions, ofc) comes from the PC market. So no, PC gaming is not dead and will not die:)

I still think the PC as a major games platform is over, the only thing which might revive it’s fortunes is the introduction of new technology like kinect and 3d
