To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Sorry if the subject wording is a bit misleading. I actually love the game but there are a few gripes and I hope a few players here could help me. I would have tried Codeforce's forum but...
1) What's going on at Matrix (Codeforce) forum? It seems to be non-existent.
2) When I Negotiate a Trade Proposal with some Alien Specie there are no options to trade starmaps or tech with the AI. Is this a bug? Do I need to achieve something to be able to trade this stuff? Usually I'm given a list of my research achievements on my side (right side of the screen) and the AI only shows some credit-multiplier choices or something like that (up to 10,000). Or is this all taken up in Swap Maps or Tech selection in the diplomacy screen?
3) By too easy I mean I am making far too much money and it seems I have to really work hard to even touch the red. There are so many options in this game, maybe I missed something? Some set-up that would force me to be more considered.

I can probably only talk to your 1st question and its just my opinion since I haven never played this game. The Matrix forums for the game look a little populated, but I don't think the game gets as much attention as it should. Matrix Games in my opinion doesn't advertise games like they should and most of the time never creates a demo for their games. So people most of the time don't know the game exists or they are leary of taking the plunge and spending the money on a game they may not fully enjoy. Most of the time I will not even buy a game (from a new dev) unless there is a demo or I have flushed the game knowledge part out myself with conversations with them here in the forums.
But taking a quick glance at the forums it looks like they have some recent posts. I didn't even know that Legends came out, so that must mean that Matrix Games isn't pushing the title much any more since its release back in 2010.
Thanks for the reply but I what I actually meant was that the forum gives me a The page cannot be displayed - There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach... blah blah blah.
