To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Im starting to lose the fight with my determination... ive been searching for days now, trying to find an update to my beloved Freelancer Discovery gaming.. but i cant find anything that seems to copy it and update it well.. i like the physics of turning off the engine and drifting into space, also same goes for turret controls and free aim... anyone out there know what im talking about? ive looked at jumpgate and couple others on the site but most that look like worthwhile games are all in a damned beta testing or worse... alpha.... 👿 😈 👿

I know what you mean. There is really quite a few games in development right now, just nothing has been released in a while that will satisfy the hunger for a new game. Dego have you tried playing Evochron Legends? It has the physics you are looking for, don't believe the turret option (not positive), you can download a demo and play it for an hour.
