To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

This game shares some of the same elements of the game I'm writing.  I'm surprised it's done so poorly.  Only 7 days to go and basically they've made 0 of their 60k goal.

I think part of their problem is it came out of nowhere.  I don't recall seeing any post about it here.

If it counts it was mentioned here since I have its kickstarter on the mainpage. But I didn't think it was going to make it because of amount and to be honest the quality. With the FPS looking so good these days its harder for me to drop money down if the visuals are not right. Generally all FPS games have decent combat and then it comes down to the AI and the environment you are in. Least for me.

When we going to see your game Hypnotron?

Yeah, i found it's kickstarter page from the list of kickstarter projects on the side of the website.

I have a simple dev blog at

there's not much to see really.  I've been waiting til i have a playable pre-alpha version before i announce and make vids and offer the demo for feedback.   It's hard working on it and working the "real" job unfortunately.  But I shall keep going until I finish it.  So say we all!  😉
