To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Thanks for the heads up Pinback, I forgot.

I was going to upgrade to the Freelancer pack and noticed they don't take your previous donation into account. I would have to pay $110 more on top of the $60 when the Freelancer pack was originally $125. Shame, because I would have upgraded if I only had to pay the difference.

That a surprise I thought they were allowing people to upgade.

Not been keeping up with what has been going on in SC except by the emails they send out.

I might email them and ask to see what the deal is on that, because it would be great if I could upgrade. Yeah I know the feeling, I get emails but I rarely have the time to sit down and read everything when I really should be.

Got an email update from SC about the cards and they are having a poll to see if there is enough interest for them to produce a metal one of the bronze/silver cards.

Finally, Sandi does not have enough 'yes' votes in order to make a metal upgrade option for bronze and silver cards feasible. If you would be interested in paying $10 to upgrade your plastic bronze or silver level card to a brushed metal card, please vote in the poll. Same here Pinback. But the real question is: did you go for Freelancer? or Colonel? 🙂

You look good through a crosshair.

Didn't they send these out? I haven't received mine yet, I wonder if we show these cards around town if we will get special treatment?

No they have not sent anything out yet, guess we should see something in the next couple of months.

Waiting to see a pic of the metal ones as the ones above look like the plastic ones.
