Ahh OK, I do in fact have the latest version installed however Walterar. Is the link you sent me somehow different from the latest (non-nightly build) Pioneer?

... you see, my aim is to have Pioneer, Genesia and Scout all on my machine (Acer, Travelmate 2400; 915/gms, 910gml intel mobile chipset; upated drivers; 1.5GHz processor, 40Gb hard drive). I bought this computer second hand (from a computer shop) especially to run Pioneer. Most of the disk is thus free. Its my Pioneer only computer.

Do not worry, the Pioneer distribution system has changed. There is no Alfas. It's unclear yet, but the latest version of Pioneer for Windows is  pioneer-201305.107-win32.7z

I want to know if your machine runs smoothly.

After, any problems with Genesia we will resolve it.

I've checked my version and it is already 201305.107 Major. This is the version I have been attempting to get Genesia to run in synergy with but with little luck. Does this help in any way?

Yes, it never had a problem with the latest version of Pioneer, New Pioneer runs like a dream Walterar. Just Genesia it stalls with.

The problem is not the machine  (os) the problem is the system :  Genesia is totaly under LMR , alls models , scripts , scout missions  add on , etc are for the old alpha 31 version ( before the deleting of lmr models) .

So genesia can't work with recent pioneer version engine .

i'm under window Vista but don't think what the OS have to do  here ...

Mike, just to be clear, Genesia is a version of Pioneer. It's the last one before the LMR models were removed, so it doesn't have the latest graphics, like moons casting shadows on planets. You can have both 'installed' on your hard drive, but because all versions use the same model_cache and mods folders you have to empty those before you run it. Genesia has all the mods you may want already installed, including Scout+, so running mods like that with Genesia will probably cause errors. If your computer runs Pioneer then it should be able to run Genesia.

Walter, if you can make Genesia compatible with the latest version of Pioneer that would be awesome! :biggrin:

You can try also delete config.ini, then run Genesia.
config.ini is shared by Pioneer and Genesia, it may cause some problems.

I have not had much time to try it because I work with Linux. Any problems let me know. 

hooo Walterar you compile the game ? 

Can't you had to genesia the Shadmar solution for the atmo of Gas giant ?
