To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

If you've been following our progress over at www.shallow-space.com you might have seen a serialised short story called 'The Gift'. This is drawing to a close now and will be available on Amazon for free shortly. We've come up with a couple of book covers and we would love your opinion on them. We have the blue cover which is thematically similar to the website and we have the black and white one which is a bit different.

I generally prefer the blue, but I dislike the "shallow space" text box and lettering to the point of actually preferring the black...
Well we have gone with blue. I've started the process to hopefully get it down to free on Amazon but its not a very easy job.
