Now J&J are pausing their rollout in Europe (and perhaps the US too) due to those blood clot fears. The situation in Brazil is looking like a disaster zone, with younger people (under 40) now getting seriously ill or dying. That's a very worrying trend.

Didn't a few countries in south america take china's vaccine? haha their should be a huge disclaimer on that one.

Yeah I saw it on the news that usa has stopped distribution of the J&J vaccine. 

But really this is expected the side effects, the vaccine is being tested really now with millions of people. This is why I wanted the data, now if only 10 people out of 1billion got a blood clot then its a non-issue statistically. The media spins all this crap when let the people decide just publish the facts and we can decide if we want to take the vaccine with its possible risks

Hey maybe they can make a commercial like some of those I have seen on TV where they list the possible side effects, would be fun to hear this list 😉

My opinion is that everyone who can should vaccinate. We have and know the statistc which says that it is better to be safe than sorry.

I guess I am okay with this to a point, if a person has the desire to vaccinate I would never stop them from doing so. But I also agree with people opting out of taking the vaccine. In the end we have a human right of choice and the individual in making that choice will suffer any consequences of that action.

Someone that has been vaccinated can still be a carrier of this virus and some can even get re-infected. Now with a 98-99% survival rate if you contract the virus I can definitely see why people they don't want to take it. They just choose to take their chances which they have that right too. And with some govts trying to ruin peoples livelihood over not having the shot also builds up the disdain for the govt/vaccine especially here in the USA.

In a way its not about the virus anymore here in the USA. We have human rights and our government is overstepping their authority and that is why so many will resist regardless. Because loosing your rights is not a option, because if you allow your govt to boss you around your freedoms will be taken away one piece at a time. 

There is a reason why tens of thousands of hospital personal, police, fireman and military are retiring or leaving their jobs. We have rights and the govt isn't allowed to impede them period. 

Maybe I feel differently about this issue because I was in the military and I have seen what a govt can do when the people have no rights or the will to resist govts that overstep their authority. The govts of the world created a vaccine, now give the people the option to take it or not.... make it free to everyone (which its not free in all countries) and focus on the economies of the world.

I always wish everyone the best and good health. I respect everyone's decisions they make for themselves, as long as you made them and were not manipulated into doing so 🙂

Of course, everyone has his freedom, but to be vaccinated is to be saved. I am looking at Norway when 90% of people are vaccinated and they do not even need to wear a mask and they live their regular life right now. I am not even looking at the fact that they have low covid ratio is something to cosider. But yes, you can be free 🙂

Things are getting nasty in parts of Europe: violent protests at new restrictions in Belgium, Holland, Italy, and Austria (which is soon to become the first country in Europe to make vaccination mandatory). Meanwhile, as the world goes to hell in a bucket, in England idiots are blocking roads demanding all homes be insulated. Ho-hum!

See... when you allow govts to have too much power they do this to the populous.... its good that the people let their govts know this is unacceptable to have them do what they are doing. I bet a lot of countries wish they didn't outlaw guns now. Unarming the populous gives the govt almost overwhelming power over the people.

In my opinion this was never about a vaccine that does a half-ass job, this virus gave govts an opportunity to expand their power over the people and its working... but at least now some of the people are figuring it out which is why so many people are resisting the vaccine regardless of the consequences because its the only way they have to show the govt they don't like what they are doing to them.

Same stuff going on here in the USA, people are quitting their jobs we have huge transportation shortages (even school buses) people are resisting at all levels. Even in the Army 30% or more have refused the vaccine, the people are fighting back. Our president has under a 40% approval rating. All our fuel, food and utilities are going up like crazy. 

Sometimes I think this 'Great Reset' that gets talked about sometimes is being put in motion right now.... If all the countries simultaneously go to shit it gives all the govts of the world a reason to reset things without any one country taking the blame. But then you have to wonder what would that new system be like ...?? hehe could it be even worse than it is now 🙂

Everyone stay safe out there, help your neighbor and keep your family safe. We all are going through some bad times in this world and I hope we all come out of this just fine.

I definitely understand this, I haven't been able to see my wife since this stuff started and there is always something coming up extending lockdowns/bans on flights. At least the visa process for her is moving along well and we hope to see each other again in 2022. 

I will be keeping my eye on Omicron to see how it advances and its threat level..... One thing you are seeing is more and more protests.

Yep!

I fear mandatory vaccination is going to be Europe-wide soon. I can understand why, but I don't like it!

If the countries do do it the protests will increase and more breakdown could possibly happen..... I don't think it is that necessary now that its coming out that Omicron is less dangerous than the previous strains and we already know that current vaccines don't protect against it.

Plan B from outer space! The airline have changed my flights, so I'll probably have to cancel again! <sobs>
