To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Another block building game which looks to based on Lego, it did have a successful Kickstarter https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/skywanderers/skywanderers?ref=2i3orp and the game may be coming to Steams early access this year or maybe early next.
the game bills itself as "The excitement of exploring uncharted worlds as in Elite, with the elegant and simple joy of building of Minecraft."

This is game is more for my son, I am just not a huge fan of the minecraft feel. But it definitely look interesting and fun, Space Engineers is decent game too, it has a bit of a learning curve but more realistic graphics and situations.
Look like he been working on a new look for the game, moving away from the pixel art look.

What a big improvement like you mentioned, I wasn't really that interested in the game... but this new trailer has peaked my interest a bit more now. Not sure if it looks like it should be releasing in a month? Personally I think it still needs a bit more time in the oven. Wonder how the SP element is and whether there is enough in the game to not make it feel lonely and empty
Probably going into early access, good point about the single player, I might give it go but I never can get into these block building game.
Games looking good, just a bit of a shame it's another block building game.
The game Steam launch has been postponed by one month but you can still buy it through the website.
Last chance to buy the game outside of Steam but you will still get a steam key, if that makes any sense.
