To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Just wondering if any of you ever played a game that I released back in 1995 called: Star Quest 1 in the 27th Century
There is a (shareware) demo version that still works using DosBox if you want to try it.
Tips: You really should use a joystick to play it though since the keyboard/mouse interface is not that good. There are 10 levels of difficulties, but the AI starts to be challenging above 6 or 7, from what I remember.
Let me know what you think or if you have problems playing it.
Can't say that I have but it rings a bell, was it part computer and board game?.
This is the game:

I remember buying the CD version, but I didn't got around to play it!!

Yes, this is the game. It is mostly a 3D space shooter but there are a few other missions like racing and one adventure.
I am not sure, but I think the CD version does not play correctly anymore because of the anti-piracy code incompatibility with newer Windows.
Not the game I was thinking of, for some reason I was thinking of Star Saga one.
