To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

I gather that it only stays in the air for about ten minutes but pretty amazing.

That'd get me to the local Waitrose and back! I want one!

The health and safety clowns would have a field day, probably why they are testing it at sea. 🤣Â

<chortles> It gets better - my local pub is right under the flightpath. Now I really want one!
I think it's this lot Flight Club - Gravity Industries  who make the one in the video and by the look of it you can buy them, but no price is given, so probably expensive.

About £300,000 apparently!
When I win the lottery that's going on the bucket list to buy along with sub orbital flight. 😀Â

You and me both, amigo!

Dream big and keep playing, you never know what the future might hold. Best of luck, and I hope you get to cross those items off your bucket list someday!
