To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Looking for the cadillac of simulations. I am new to the genre, but want to delve in with both feet.

Think a couple of the X games available on the Mac, they look pretty but are more of an economic simulation than anything else.

That's silly, Pinback. <img src="' http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//icon_razz.gi f"' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-P' /> I play X3: Terran Conflict (X3TC) and X3: Albion Prelude (X3AP) primarily for combat. You can play the game any way that you like; Fight or Trade as much as you like.

Both X3TC and X3AP are available on the Mac. I recently helped a player to modify his game on the Mac, so that is possible, as well.

Unfortunately, space sims have been pretty stale for too many years. X3 is the best of what is left in the industry. What else is out there (released)... on any platform?
