To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Strike two for the F22 Raptors - intriguing stuff!
Seems to have been some sort of drone which was shot down over Alaska and what happened to the other balloon which was spotted over central america.
Another mystery object shot down, over Canada this time!
They seems to be falling out of the sky all over the place.
And another one (over Lake Huron).
American air force general was asked if they maybe extraterrestrial and his answer was it's not ruled out.
Looks like it was not ET.
All this I think is a distraction tactic, there is a lot of stuff going on in the world and I think the press is trying to divert our attention 😉 This train derail in Ohio which spilled all these chemicals is a big deal and the press isn't even talking about it because it makes govt look bad. Nevermind all the USA/Nato actions for the Ukraine war....
The governments must think we are really dumb, like aliens that have the technology to come here I doubt they would deploy balloons into our atmosphere 🤣
The governments must think we are really dumb...
Unfortunately, they're mostly right - far too many sheeple out there!
I get my foil hat out just in case. 🤣
Why they waste missiles on these is beyond me a few chaingun rounds on these aircraft could easily take it down and cost a fraction of these missiles 🙂
Why they waste missiles on these is beyond me
I read somewhere that those missiles have a shelf-life, after which they need to be taken out of service and refurbished. So rather than do that, they're happy to toggle a few off when opportunity presents itself (and a real live-fire opportunity is rare).
Yeah @cody that makes sense I forgot that a lot of these munitions sit in cold storage and you are right, most bases have a site which is guarded 24/7 and it basically is full of stuff like this.... i remember doing this type of duty 1x a month.
Have they said anymore about what they found as it seems to have gone quiet about it.
