To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

I think Disney is about to ruin Doctor Who, I didn't like this trailer 😢
I don't think Disney will ruin it. I think Doctor Who will finally finish its transformation away from what the show was during the original run. I really liked Classic Who and miss it but the new show is better is in some ways (worse in others). It has always been a broad family show. I'm looking forward to it but aware I've probably outgrown it a bit.

I outgrew Doctor Who a long time ago. My favourite character? The Brigadier! "five rounds, rapid fire!"
Yeah, after Tom Baker, I stopped watching. For me, he was the last of a line of great Doctors.
I stopped watching after Tom Baker as well, I should set aside my old ways and give this a try .... which might happen in Dec since thats when I buy Disney+ for a month to watch everything I missed over the year 🙂
Not watch Doctor Who since the last series of Matt Smiths doctor.
Classic series had some really well written stories but was sometimes let down by some really bad effects. Â
The show is all over the place this year but I'm enjoying it a lot. I can't say it's going to win over any new fans but there is nothing quite like it for sure
