It's a shame that Provox Games abandoned support and work on SFRU a long time ago because with some modding tools ( that promised, but never delivered) people would still be playing this game still. But it looks like Zanix from SFRU forums created a mod that will make SFRU more realistic. I haven't tried this mod yet so I cannot make a screenshot comparison but I might just need to load this game out to try out this mod, thanks Zanix for making this mod if you ever see this.

The complete universe in all systems have a new amazing look now. It is a new amazing and more realism experience to play SFRU with this mod. This mod changes also the mining sound to a more delightful sound.

How to install: First make a backup of the Data, Maps and Sound folder than unzip the "SFRU_New_Universe_Look_v2.zip“ file to your SpaceForce Rogue Universe main folder and allow to overwrite the files.

A little hint: In the folder „SpaceForce Rogue UniverseDataNames“ search for the file „comm.txt“ you could disable sounds, for example the speech sounds at stations and during docking, simple open the „comm.txt“ fil in Windows editor and put a / infront of the „/soundfile: ....“ If you want only disable the station sounds than use the search function in your Windows editor and search for „station“. You must change all the station sounds to disable all sounds for every station.
