To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Nice trailer for sure.
I can't help but feeling sorry for the current KSP "1" dev team though. In their shoes I would check my resume and rush to the nearest escape pod I'm afraid 🙁

"Kerbal Space Program 2, the sequel to the beloved original space sim, is now planned for launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, in fiscal 2021, in order to allow more time to make the experience as terrific as possible," Take-Two president Karl Slatoff said during an investors call.

This is always for the best in my opinion, don't release a game until you know its complete and people or reviewers can't rip your game apart. Bad press these days kills a game quickly.

+1, especially with the hype they've created, and also knowing they will be competing with KSP1 upon release.

Looks like this is being delayed...

Announced that Kerbal Space Program 2 is being moved to Fall 2021 and will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC due to delays from COVID-19, in order to provide the development team with the time they need to create the best Kerbal Space Program experience possible.

Interesting video about the game going interstellar and making some bold claims for it.

Bad situation that given that Take Two are not a small developer.
