To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Well looks like RSI is delaying some features in their latest post: The gamers are getting restless in their forums ;) its about time. I didn't read all 400+ posts but there is a lot of negativity in this thread and personally I agree with a lot of the gamers on this point. Everyone is blaming the virus for delays these days, if that is the case what the heck have they been doing for the past 8yrs? As you will see they are making sure there is a kiosk in the next update 🤣 hahaha yeah that is a real necessity huh.... the project manager for this project needs to be let go and someone with better qualifications hired. All this excess bullshit in SC needs to be let go and give us what was promised, I am so glad I only spent $50 on this game and not the hundreds or even thousands many other gamers have given RSI. C'mon RSI you have been funded over 250mil for this project thus far.... I thought the US govt was awful with the money vs. results ratio ;)

Ah! The Syd Barret era. For me at any rate Pink Floyd at their most freaky and best! 😲

I just wish Syd was still here but as it is Nick had one of the Kemp brothers from Spandau Ballet fronting the band yes? I am sure he will do a good job but no one could ever replace Syd......no one.

EDIT: Oh no! I've done it again haven't I. D1 will be........."displeased" indeed. 😵
