like i already posted i have the time now to take care of this problems.
i guess i have to download the complete thread here to keep track of all the issues.
what exactly causes the diplaced "old blackelk" i can't imagine now.
maybe just because i slightly displaced the station.
the displacing was done to close the gap between station and city
it's in fact a height difference and not displaced in distance to the city.
easy this could cause the station to sink in the ground, but i haven't noticed this.
(a idea is to take a look at the tris.ini i included, there you find the displacement, if changed back to 0
the problem maybe disappears).
still it would be surprising because i can only explain this for myself with a different terrain,
easy possible since the terrain is procedural generated, but well same numbers will draw same numbers,
but a slight change in the code can alter this, i know.
to the flickering,
usually this marks a z-fighting plane,
a doubled geometry?
shouldn't be (the "triangles" on the landmark are original geometry), but it must be something like that
yes i see a lot of models are displaced,
i will have to check this.
i hope i can fix the issues until sunday, but i won't promise - else it will take me 2 months.
everytime i promise something it will turn out completely different

it's anything else as easy to be tied that much to "the force", i can't control it - it controls me (laughs).
and well some buildings are displaced because of a quarter which is used repetively but the buildings are random
vectors and far less in the original, of i guess 9 possible buildings usually only 4 or 5 are used,
dependeing on a global value for this specific city, respectively citytile.
for "black elk" it's used twice but each with a different global.
which results in two different looking tiles made of one geometry.
it's to think about to hack the code and use two different tiles,
since i can't randomly let a solid geometry appear or disappear.
if i can solve it with a different tile i'm satisfied.
of course the tile(s) will unfortunately have always the same appearance across the galaxy.
however, it needs less buildings on this tile
and on a second one the same problem appears
it's left of the station (in a view from the station to the city)
the one with the giant 200floors blocks on it (i guess it reflects a sort of residential quarter, a massive "rabbitcage").
in other terms, the one which hasn't a floor tile yet, because floor and random geometry is one model.
this tile will be different in each city of a similar type.
i only can replace it with a set of buildings, even less as the geometry contains, else it will be overloaded.

using the latest build makes no difference
perhaps if you create a new FFED3D folder, i uploaded once a default models set
it should work with this
Fantastic work! Can we have a distinct folder covering all buildings' models avaible?
Oh, and where can I get this nice console you guys are having there? Mine has no wires and there are old nasty icons like missiles.

Let me know what you are uploading and where you are trying to put it so I can make sure permissions are ok? What is the size of the file? What is the file extension?
I thought I had upload set to 2GB.

I sent an email to the developer of this plugin, I recently updated to a newer version and when I try to upload one of your files I get an error when it completes. So for right now looks like upload is not working, but I am on it 🙂
I just uploaded this file 2016-12-31_new_ships_gernot66.zip without issue to the Models folder under FFED3D, you still have that issue Gernot66?
