GameSpot's study shows that the majority of the population of all adult gamers 13 and older who own a PS3 only spend around 50% of their PS3 usage time playing games. Anyone else shocked that a system primarily created and designed for gaming is being used almost primarily for non-gaming?
Not at all I bought the PS3 mainly because its one of the best Blu-ray players on the market and you do have streaming apps like Hulu/Netfix/Vudu. The box is an excellent purchase and recommend them to everyone. And if you get the PSN Plus subscription at $50 a year you get access to early betas and a ton of free games. My subscription already paid for itself with the 10-20 free games I have received since starting it. And did I mention the Blu-ray, once you go Blu you never go back. 😉
